The Chorale, directed by Ms. Julie Beyler, opens its 29th season with a concert of spirituals. Come "Feel the Spirit" of music from the pen of John Rutter and other composers. Elizabeth Buckley will share her incredible gift for this musical genre as our featured soloist.

Ring in the festive season with the Champaign-Urbana Symphony Orchestra holiday concert. The Chorale joins the The Parkland Singers to perform The Many Moods of Christmas arranged by Robert Shaw and Robert Russell Bennett. Celebrate Maestro Steven Larsen as he conducts his final season with the CUSO. Tickets available through the Krannert Box Office.

Ring out the holiday season with the Chorale's magical evening of folk music from Ireland, Scotland and America. The Chorale, under the direction of Julie Beyler, will sing such melodies as My Gentle Harp, Away from the Roll of the Sea, Kathleen Mavourneen, and Song of the Mira. Special guest performances will include singer Jean Redpath, Jacqueline Schwab on the piano and Laura Risk on the fiddle.
Proceeds from this evening of musical entertainment are used to help fund The Chorale's Young Artist Scholarship Program.
Mills Breast Cancer Institute Music Series: A Healing Connection

The Chorale has been invited back yet again to participate again in Music Series at Mills. Julie Beyler will direct a small ensemble of voices to perfrom selections reflecting the theme of hope and healing. This free 45 minute performance begins at Noon in the beautiful atrium of the Mills Breast Cancer Institute in Urbana, Illinois.

The Chorale, directed by Ms. Julie Beyler, will perform music of American composers including Randall Thompson, Steven Paulus, Randol Alan Bass, Nathan Bigler, Morten Lauridson and Rene Clausen.
Featured guest conductor Craig Jessop returns to C-U a fourth time for this festival chorus weekend. Dr. Jessop is currently the Dean of the Caine College of the Arts at Utah State University in Logan, Utah. His previous conducting posts included 13 years with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir (1995-2008) and 16 years with the United States Air Force as director of the Singing Sergeants (1979-1987), commander/conductor, Band of the United States Air Forces in Europe (1987-91) and commander/conductor of the Air Combat Command Heartland of American Band (1991-95).
